Narrative
Ma Chenggang and Chunlan, who have no “oil in their soup and no money in their pockets”, ride donkeys to work and have a poor family. This is the third feature film, following Xia Luo te fan nao (2015) and Xi hong shi shou fu (2018) in “Slinky Town Universe”, by screenwriters and directors Da-Mo Peng and Fei Yan, starring Teng Shen.
The English subtitles and humor are well suited for Western audiences
I Want to Be the Wind Composed by Fei Peng Lyrics by Tian Tang Starring Lu Xian Sen. I was expecting just some light humor, but I found it to be hilarious, dramatic, emotional and thought-provoking.
