Sawyer’s character was originally intended to be an older, slick, dress-wearing city con artist from Buffalo, NY. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and then kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the Sawyer character, and decided to write Sawyer as a more Southern, dark drifter instead. Jin and Sun are married and "Kwon" becomes a major plot point in the final season.

This is a very good show with very good writers. There are many subplots that keep you interested and looking forward to next week for more answers to the many mysteries that develop around the island that was destroyed by a group of survivors of a plane crash. I also like how the writers go into the history of each of the main characters.

They make the watcher more interesting. There are a lot of mysterious events on the island and a lot of drama between the characters on the show. It’s great to have a TV show that doesn’t involve CSIs, cops, lawyers or doctors!
