The story of three young girls trying to stick together when they get trapped in a sea cave full of crashing waves, hundreds of sea lions, and terrifying elephant seals. Nominated for the 9th San Diego Film Awards (2023). …I had to give it a go. It’s really scary. I mean, again, I’ve never cared to write reviews before. I think there was some danger to the children during the filming of this. I’m pretty sure that in one of the scenes where a child gets hit in the back of the head by a boogie board, she actually got hit by the boogie board! The little kids’ faces looked uncharacteristic, she was legitimately scared! Not only is this movie terrible in its storytelling, but these kids were actually put in dangerous situations. I’m getting my money back. It’s sickening how these directors were so eager to make their movie that they put innocent children in absurd situations. Plus, they probably didn’t even have permission to film in these locations.

Just go in with no expectations
Fairytale of New York Written by Jem Finer, Shane MacGowan Starring The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl. Comparing it to Slow Horses isn’t fair because that show is amazing. I just watched it for fun because I like Ben Whishaw.
Yes, it’s overly implausible and there are a lot of plot holes
My husband said it was embarrassing and said he couldn’t help but compare it to Slow Horses. Since Slow Horses season 5 won’t be released for months, this is a decent substitute. The trick is to not overthink it and have your popcorn ready.
He was definitely disappointed (lol)
I liked the chemistry between Knightley and Whishaw, and that was enough to keep me interested. If only the husband would give the show a 3. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of the month.
Season 1 is "The Gauntlet" – the book consists of 82 chapters
Narrative

Rotating this way doesn’t push or pull air
The fans on the floor are turned the wrong way in various episodes, in terms of the orientation of the blades. Featured in WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 That You Should Overdo (2023).
And when the status quo that maintains order is challenged, execution and punishment ensue
It’s an interesting take on the history of the underground bunker, a people who have survived underground for so long that a civilization has developed within them, with stories, myths, beliefs, rituals and ceremonies whose roots are forgotten, and a status quo social structure is established. A power structure is established that creates a figuratively and literally stratified population from the top of the silo to the bottom.
Good acting from Oyelowo, with familiar faces in Rashida Jones and Will Patton
That’s the premise, and while it’s not entirely original (think Snowpiercer, Dark City, etc.), there’s enough novelty here that it seems to be well done for a TV series. (But as the show’s poster suggests, they’re guest stars, giving way to the regular cast, with Rebecca Ferguson in the lead role.) The show looks pretty decent, with good production values.
There are elaborate sets and good CGI to provide a believable atmosphere
While a suspicious mind will pick up on some obvious conspiracies early on, there are mysteries that are revealed that will keep you watching.
When the girl of his dreams (Amber Midthunder) is kidnapped, everyman Nate (Jack Quaid) turns his inability to feel pain into unexpected strength in his fight to get her back.

This is the second animated movie based on The Witcher, Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy book series which inspired a blockbuster video game franchise and the Netflix series.
Robbie Williams: If you’re going to laugh, do it inside, okay?
Narrative
A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams. The film emerged from several recordings of interviews that director Michael Gracey conducted with Robbie Williams over the course of a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles, United States. Although the interviews were not originally intended for a film, as Gracey “just wanted to capture [Williams] in his own voice telling his story”, most of Williams’ voiceover in the film comes from those recordings.

One of the best films I’ve ever seen! At first I was skeptical that Robbie would be played by an ape, but I forgot about that within the first five minutes. There were so many real emotions watching it.
I can’t wait to see it again
It was a wonderful roller coaster that I’m still marveling at days later. There are so many tributes to the different characters Robbie has encountered. It’s very brave and humbling of you to include this.
It really is the best entertainment!
The good guys and the bad guys. I really liked her complete honesty and that she included her mental health struggles and didn’t shy away from them. Well done!
