Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn made the rarest of friendships when she found a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to abandon Hope for the unknown of New York, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her friend years later. 14-year-old Autumn, accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal smugglers and decides she must return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Beth Rickard) – Autumn’s charmingly clumsy biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
